In 2020, as a new parent I was looking for a family-oriented, caring, loving, and learning driven daycare to entrust with the most precious part of me - my baby girl, Olivia! Abundant Love Christian Daycare was highly recommended and utilized by all of my husband’s siblings for their children. ALCD has not only surpassed my expectations, but gave me so much confidence in the staff that I enrolled my second baby girl, Addison at 4 months old. The Davis Girls are truly blessed to have the gems at ALCD to foster their ongoing early learning and developmental skills.

I moved to NC triad area 4 years ago, once we were settled and needed child care looking at all facilities we fell upon ALCD. Our son was granted a spot in the 2 yr old room. The warmth and love and kindness given each and ever time we entered to pick up our lil guy was just beyond words. Work and life changes and Covid separated us and when we were in need of care again, I reached out to see if there was room and I was told there is one space open, WHAT A GOD SEND!! This center treats each and every one of the children who crawl/wobble through their doors as their very own. There is nothing like putting your 4 year old to bed as he asks " Mama am I going to school tomorrow" and when I reply yes, he is over joyed with the best grin as he closes his eyes in excitement for the next school day. Our boys started with ALCD in Feb 2021, just two and four years old at the time they started. Coming from a small home daycare setting since they were 6-weeks old and now entering into a daycare center was a worrying thought for Dad and I but when I tell you that Mrs. Yolandra has gone above and beyond to make that transition as smooth as possible for us, SHE HAS! Daily our oldest son tells Mrs. Yolandra “I love you” and he tells his Dad and I that “she is the BEST!” Ms. Nailah, one of the Butterfly teachers, is such a patient kindhearted soul, and her passion for children and teaching has been such a positive influence on our oldest son’s life! Just this week, as the weather has been getting colder, the Ladybug teacher, sweet Ms. Tameka, came to me in the pick up line and said that she literally put our son, now three years old, inside her jacket to keep him warm on the playground when she noticed he was shivering and cold, I KNEW then we chose the right place! Abdunant Love Christian Daycare is a family and we are grateful to be a part of it! Thank you to ALL THE ALCD staff for EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO for the Ellis family! We love you!

Our children started attending ALCD in the middle of the pandemic and while there was some initial hesitation due to COVID, the daycare has maintained clear and effective safety procedures that have brought peace of mind to us and kept our children safe. Our oldest daughter was there for 6 months before starting Kindergarten and she learned so much in that short time that prepared her for the transition to school and she still talks about how much she misses her preschool teachers and loves her time there. Our younger daughter is learning and growing everyday and clearly enjoys her time there. The entire daycare staff and directors are so warm and caring and clearly have a passion and love for this work! They have made our children feel loved and find enjoyment in learning everyday!! We are so grateful for everything they do for the children on a daily basis and we love them so much!
